God is always around us and tries to get our attention. However, if we are not intentionally seeking, naming, claiming, and celebrating God in our daily lives; we miss God. God is always there, but sometimes we just do not notice.

Spiritual maturity does not take place overnight – we must grow, work, practice, express, study, share, and apply our faith in all our daily transactions to mature. We don’t know when the storms in life will come. Join with us as we prepare to fill our arks.

In last week’s post, I spoke about becoming more awake, more conscious in our daily living. This week I offer a set of questions to help you become aware of the most challenging fruit to cultivate in your life.

Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. For us to know what quality of life we have, we need to be aware, awake, and conscious. Here we share some scriptural references regarding becoming aware.

Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. It remembers the day when the Spirit of God was given personally to the disciples following Jesus’ death. The Holy Spirit is the gift of God’s self to each of us. Where has God been moving through you?

Sunday we will celebrate Ascension Sunday in the church and recognize the Christian family. Many will honor their mother, foster mother, step-mother, or mother-in-law. I invite you to reflect on women who have journeyed with you.

It’s springtime – a time when so much promise and so much hope surrounds us. Open your heart and mind wide. Drink deeply of God’s love, hope, and presence. Let God hold you. Give thanks.

When the stone is removed from the tomb of Jesus, we find new life as a gift to us. What stone in your life needs to be removed that you might have full and abundant life in Christ? Have you asked God to remove it?

Even into the places we do not want to go; Jesus goes with us and we are instructed to follow him. How deep is your trust in Jesus? What spiritual discipline are you working on this year to deepen and strengthen your trust and faith in Jesus?
